We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Operations Assistant to join our vibrant Greenhead Base Operations team in Shetland. This is your chance to be part of a diverse role with plenty of variety and hands-on experience in a unique setting.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the heart of operations: Provide essential administrative assistance to the operations, property, and accounts teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day functions.
  • Stay ahead with data: Input and manage information using cutting-edge systems.
  • Handle logistics with precision: Generate purchase orders (POs), process goods received notes (GRNs), and track key data on fuel and energy usage to optimise our resources.
  • Dive into operations: Take part in general yard and quayside activities, contributing to the core of our operations.
  • Hands-on cargo management: Work closely with the Ops Controller to check cargo and provide on-the-ground support.
  • Stay organised: Produce detailed manifests, submit harbour returns, and manage invoicing paperwork, keeping everything running like clockwork.

  • Tech-savvy: Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and ERP systems.
  • Attention to detail: Strong administrative skills, excellent communication, and a passion for providing top-notch customer service.
