Customs formalities

We have many years of experience in completing customs entries on behalf of customers, as a customs broker and operating under direct representation.

Strengths of this service

We are an experienced customs broker and offer comprehensive import/export customs entry services for various customs regimes, and seamless solutions to Union Customs Code changes, while also providing cost savings by eliminating the need for expensive software and in-house training.

  • We have a direct link to the tax authority’s declaration systems, and have customs loader badges for all UK ports where we operate

  • We routinely complete entries which make use of other customs regimes (such as outward processing relief, returned goods relief, ship spares, and low value imports and exports)

  • All our brokerage teams are trained to the highest standards

UK offering:

We have a direct link to the UK tax authority’s declaration systems, enabling us to clear goods for export and import in-house. And we have customs loader badges for all UK ports where we operate, which allows for the electronic arrivals and departures of third-party entries.

Other customs regimes

Additionally, we routinely complete entries which make use of other customs regimes (such as outward processing relief, returned goods relief, ship spares, and low value imports and exports). Our expert team also regularly carries out import and export formalities for licensable and excise goods, goods entering and exiting customs warehouses, goods subject to quota controls, and pipeline imports from the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS).

Brokerage teams

Our customs and quayside teams work closely together to provide a seamless solution to the challenges created by Union Customs Code (UCC) changes relating to the UKCS. And by using us as a third-party expert customs broker, you can avoid the need for expensive software that connects to official systems, and save money on in-house training and processing time.

All our brokerage team have the level 2 customs practice and procedure award from the UK Customs Academy, with many also holding the Level 3 and Level 4 awards.

We offer customs brokerage both as a standalone service, and in combination with freight forwarding. And we can arrange for any necessary import duties or VAT to be paid for you without the need for your own deferment account.
